Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 6 August 2026
This policy governs everything you post and do on n1 Circle — posts, comments, polls, progress shares, direct messages, profiles and usernames. It exists so the platform stays what it is meant to be: a research community. Educational, evidence-minded, respectful — and never a marketplace, and never a clinic.
It forms part of the Terms of Use. Breaching it can mean content removal, feature restrictions, suspension or a permanent ban.
1. Never sourcing. This is the bright line.
n1 Circle may not be used to buy, sell, trade, gift or obtain any substance, or to help anyone else do so. That includes:
asking where to buy, or answering — publicly or by DM
naming, linking, promoting or reviewing vendors or suppliers
posting prices, stock, coupon codes or group buys
"DM me" and any other move that takes sourcing off the public record
coded language intended to accomplish any of the above
Sourcing content is removed on sight and is the fastest route to a permanent ban. This applies to verified members and direct messages exactly as it applies everywhere else.
2. No playing doctor
Share your experience; never issue instructions. Not allowed:
telling another member what they should take, how much, or how often
presenting community anecdotes as established clinical fact
claiming medical or professional credentials you have not verified with us
diagnosing other members, or presenting a protocol as treatment for their condition
"Here is what I did and what I observed" is a contribution. "Here is what you should do" is not.
3. Protect people
This is an 18+ community. No content involving anyone under 18, and no helping anyone under 18 use the platform.
No harassment, bullying, hate or threats. Disagree with the content, not the person.
No doxxing. Members choose handles for a reason — do not publish anyone's real name, contact details, photos or other identifying information without their consent. This includes information learned in verified spaces or DMs.
No sexual content, and no sharing of anyone's image without their consent.
No encouraging self-harm, disordered behaviour, or reckless escalation.
4. Content standards
Progress posts must be your own photos and measurements. We strip location and device metadata from everything you share, but what the photo shows is your choice — share deliberately.
Research posts require a real, checkable reference. No reference, no research post.
Polls and questions should be asked in good faith, not as disguised promotion.
No spam, affiliate links, referral farming or undisclosed promotion.
No deliberate misinformation — presenting known-false claims as fact.
5. Integrity
One account per person. No impersonating other members, moderators or n1 Circle.
No manipulating reputation: no self-voting schemes, reciprocal "helpful" rings, or linked-account boosting. The scoring system ignores these anyway; attempting them is a violation on its own.
No circumventing audience boundaries. Republishing verified-only content outside the verified space — on or off the platform — is a serious violation.
No evading a suspension or ban with a new account.
6. Enforcement
Content may be screened automatically before publication and flagged for moderator review. Depending on severity, enforcement runs from a warning, to content removal, to feature restrictions, to suspension, to a permanent ban. Sourcing, endangering minors, doxxing and ban evasion skip the ladder.
Moderators act through audited tools; every action is logged. Moderation records may be retained after content deletion, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Reporting and appeals
Every post, comment and message can be reported — including specifically for sourcing. You can also block or mute any member; blocking is symmetric, and neither of you will see the other again.
If you believe an enforcement action against you was wrong, email hello@n1circle.com with the details. A human will review it.
